Explore Arequipa city, visit main square and the imposing monastery of "Santa Catalina". Discover Colca Canyon and wonder the majestic flight of the Condors. Travel by bus to Lake Titicaca, take the boat and see the amazing floating islands Uros, enjoy great views of the lake from Taquile island. Take the tourist bus to Cusco and explore the route of the sun visiting different attractions on the way. Have a nice city tour in Cusco city and surroundings. Visit the Sacred Valley of the Incas and the towns of Ollantaytambo, Pisaq and Chinchero. Take the train to Aguas Calientes and end the journey with a fantastic tour in Machu Picchu.
DAY 1
WELCOME TO PERU
Upon arrival at the International Airport in Lima, you'll enjoy a warm reception and transfer to your hotel. For those staying in a first class hotel, you'll be welcomed with Peru’s national drink, the Pisco Sour. According with your arrival time, you will be resting the rest of the day or we can initiate the city tour in Lima.
In the Morning we'll head to Lima´s historical center, your first stop will be made at Love Park. From here, you'll be able to relax and enjoy spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean. You'll also see “Huaca Pucllana” located in Miraflores. Next, visit Lima's main square, where you'll view the Presidential and Municipal palaces and the main Cathedral. You'll have the opportunity to enter the Cathedral, which holds the tomb of the Spanish Conquistador Francisco Pizarro. Back to Hotel
In the Morning, after breakfast we will go to the airport to take our flight to Arequipa. After arrival, we will go to our hotel to take some free time. Around 1 pm, we will visit the heart of the district is Plaza de Armas, considered one of Peru’s most beautiful plazas and the site of the city’s most important buildings, including City Hall, the old Jesuit Iglesia de la Compañía and the neo-renaissance Cathedral. The Monasterio de Santa Catalina, a Dominican convent founded in 1579 and one of Arequipa’s most worthwhile sites, is also located in the historic centre. Rest of the day free to explore the city.
Our Adventure starts early in the morning to visit the Colca Canyon where we will spend the day watching condors glide over the Colca Canyon. A great choice for nature lovers and first-time visitors. Observe condors and absorb panoramic views of the Colca Canyon from La Cruz del Condor lookout point, and opt to soak your muscles in the hot springs of La Calera in the afternoon. We will spend the night in Chivay.
Our adventure leads us to the Mirador Cruz del Condor, the most famous viewing point for looking into the depths of the Colca Canyon. Here, the canyon is around 1200m deep, and you will have good chance of luck to see a few condors flying. You will then continue on to Chivay. From here you will take the comfortable tourist coach to Lake Titicaca. Along the way, you will be able to appreciate the scenic beauty of the Andes. When we reach the altitude of 4850m (12,000ft). After this great experience, we will continue our transfer to Puno.
After breakfast, explore the idyllic floating islands of Lake Titcaca on an exciting full-day tour from Puno. Visit Uros and Taquile to gain insight into the indigenous inhabitants of the unique islands; ride the gentle waters of the world’s highest lake on a boat; and enjoy an authentic experience of culture untouched by mainland modernity. After the tour, we will go back to your hotel. Rest of the day to rest.
After breakfast, you'll bet transferred to the airport for your departure to Cusco. Enjoy the rest of the morning at your leisure. In the afternoon, you'll visit the imperial city of Cusco. Beginning in the neighborhood of San Blas, with its artisans, you'll visit the church of San Blas to see its impressively carved woodwork. We will visit the Plaza de Armas, the cathedral, and we will finish with the visit of Sacsayhuaman a Royal house where the incas admired the Sun God. Rest of the day to rest.
After breakfast, we will travel through the mountains to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Arrive at the village of Pisac, where you can visit the lively traditional market and perhaps pick up some souvenirs. Climb back into your vehicle for the 40-minute journey to Urubamba continuing on to the town of Ollantaytambo, another Inca archaeological site. After the tour we will transfer to the hotel located in the Valley. After the tour we will back to Cusco. Rest of the day to rest.
Early breakfast, then board the train to Aguas Calientes, or Machu Picchu Town. On arrival, you will be collected from the station to board a bus to Machu Picchu with your guide to start a 2-hour tour of this 15th-century Inca citadel, visiting the main plaza, the circular tower, the sacred solar clock, the royal quarters, the Temple of Three Windows, and various cemeteries. In the afternoon, take the train back to Ollantaytambo where tour driver will be waiting to take you back to your hotel in Cusco.
After breakfast, you'll be transferred to the airport where you will head back to Lima or to your next destination.
